The Heart Behind the Camera

My goal is to create photographs that feel like you.
It’s to help you recognize the incredible woman you’ve been all along.
Authentic.
Confident.
Beautiful.
Exactly as you are.
"I'm not here to make you look different.
I'm here to help you recognize the woman you've been all along."
A little about me...
My nursing journey began when I was 19 years old, in the back of an ambulance. One unforgettable day, I watched a bright red medical helicopter land in a field to transport our patient. In that moment, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Fourteen years later, I climbed aboard that same medical helicopter as a flight nurse and lived what I still consider one of my dream jobs.
Life has a way of writing chapters we never expect. My path eventually led me to the VA, where I now have the privilege of caring for our nation's Veterans. Every step of my career has reminded me that serving others is where I belong, and I couldn't be more grateful for the journey.
When I'm not behind the camera or at the hospital, you'll usually find me chasing adventure.
I’ve run a marathon, worked as a travel nurse in Kauai, Baltimore, Seattle, and San Diego, and sailed around the world as a nurse alongside more than 600 college students. I’ve watched the sun rise from 18,200 feet in the Himalayas with Mount Everest standing in the distance. I’ve dipped my feet into the Ganges River in Varanasi, ridden a camel in the Mongolian countryside, and slept in a freezing yurt beneath one of the most breathtaking night skies I’ve ever seen.
Life has brought beautiful highs, unexpected detours, incredible adventures, and lessons I never saw coming. Each one has shaped the woman I am today, and each one reminds me to never stop living fully.
My faithful dog, Winter, has been by my side through many of those chapters. She's my adventure buddy, my shadow, and my constant reminder that the best companions don't need many words.
Travel has taught me that every person has a story worth telling.
Nursing taught me that life is precious.
Photography allows me to preserve both.
I'm honored every time someone trusts me enough to step in front of my camera. My hope is that when you look at your photographs years from now, you won't just see what you looked like—you'll remember exactly who you were.
I'd love to help you see yourself the way the people who love you already do.
