Kind Words...

"Julie is a multi-talented, lovely, human who will provide you with some amazing photos and memories! We need to book our next shoot!"

- Astrid Shadle

"Julie is THE BEST! Truly, the best. She has an incredible eye to get amazing shots, and is able to direct people like me—who feel awkward in front of a camera—with such grace. She did a boudoir shoot for me and made me feel unbelievably comfortable the entire time. She even asked what my music preference was and had a playlist of comforting, fun, familiar music playing the entire time. I loved that detail. Julie took time to listen to what I was going for and made it happen. She is humble and honest and artistic and kind and a safe space and hands down the best photographer in town. I have referred all of my friends to her who are looking for anything from boudoir shoots to graduation photos to family portraits. You’ll want Julie Keeslar photographing you, hands down!"

- Jacqueline Garreau

"Julie did my family pictures and she is seriously the best! She was so good at getting shots of my hyper kids and my son had fallen the day before pictures and had a bruise on his face and Julie did an amazing job photo shopping it out. I would recommend her to anyone!"

- Kimberley Seslar

"Julie's photos are always absolutely beautiful! She is amazing and if you have the opportunity to have her do your photos, you most definitely should!"

- Katelyn Davis

"Julie Vanty owner of "This Life in Focus" is an amazing photographer. Julie's approach to life and preserving its many joys are present in her photographic style. She is an absolute professional and brings her years of experience and artistic knowledge to the photo shoot. She provided my family with priceless memories at the location of our choice in her photographs. She provided us with so many choices it was almost impossible to choose a group to frame and share. Julie's skills and magic have become an annual event for members of my family. I can not recommend a better photographer to capture your families memories."

"This was our second experience taking photos with Julie and it was again a great one! We absolutely love the photo gallery she created for us! Julie spent time preparing and picking a great spot and time to take photos. She took time to know what we wanted as well. We always feel very comfortable around her as do the kids and our dog. We had a wonderful time enjoying the process and the photos will be memories we share for a lifetime. Thank you Julie! See you again soon!"

"Julie gave me my favorite photography experience ever! I've tried other photographers in the past and nobody compares to her outgoing personality and dedication to getting the perfect photo. She took extra time to find perfect locations for some incredible pictures! We had so much fun trying new ideas and capturing some awesome memories. I highly recommend Julie for anyone looking for a photographer. Thank you Julie!"

- Sydney

"Julie was so wonderful to work with! She took extra time to scope out good locations so that we would have the perfect lighting. I brought my two dogs along and she was able to capture some really great shots of them despite them wanting to run all over the foothills. All of the pictures turned out so great! Thank you Julie!"

- Alicyn Turner

"So many beautiful pictures! Julie got all the beautiful pictures of our wedding and so many views and made my whole family feel at ease. I have a split family and she made sure not to leave anyone out and even surprised me with some beautiful pictures of my dress. The book we purchased was a beautiful wedding gift as well. I can’t wait to have her take pictures of our family as we continue to grow it."

- Hailey

"I had a very limited window when all of us would be home for family photos and Julie was great about flexible scheduling with us. We absolutely adore the photo gallery she created for our family! Julie spent time sharing ideas for location and poses and quickly put us all at ease with her comfortable and cheery way. We had a wonderful time enjoying the process. Julie was even able to utilize the questionable weather we had to deal with that day to make the photos all the more beautiful and memorable. Thank you so much, Julie!"

- Karen

"Julie did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding. She took the time to get to know us before the wedding in order to have a better understanding of what we were expecting picture wise. She was punctual, and very thorough with the amount of pictures she took. We couldn't have asked for better pictures, they turned out wonderful. The price point is also very affordable, and I liked that we had access to all of the photos instead of just a handful. Thank you for capturing our special day!"

- Natalie Maze

"Julie invested in our photo session before the scheduled session. She visited the chosen location in the preceding days and suggested a time of optimal lighting. She made my daughters feel beautiful and comfortable. She captured their personalities in the beauty of the sunrise over a misty river and I will treasure those moments frozen in time for years to come. It was a chilly morning and she treated the girls to hot chocolate after the shoot. How thoughtful! She provided our gallery quickly. I would trust her to photograph any life event."

- Angela Radimer

"Julie agreed to do a photo shoot of Ronin, my Labs 4 Liberty service dog-in-training. Julie was patient and fun and got some amazing shots of a goofy, high energy pup. I'm very excited to send these photos on to Ronin's Veteran, Rob's wife. These great pictures will help Rob wait a few more months till Ronin is ready to get to work with him. Thanks, Julie!!"
